Ira has nearly 20 years of experience in providing tax services to a variety of large multi-billion dollar AUM private equity and real estate clients. Her primary practice areas include federal and state tax compliance and consulting for onshore and offshore investment funds, commercial and residential real estate development companies, management companies, closely held investment partnerships, and corporate blockers.

Ira has deep experience in handling every level and life cycle of complex tiered partnership structures. From the portfolio companies, joint venture investment partnerships, holding companies, master funds, funds of funds, to the general partner entities, Ira has helped clients navigate domestic and U.S. international tax considerations through tax efficient structures with an understanding of general business concerns.  Throughout her career, she has assisted clients with reporting of stock and asset acquisitions/dispositions, like-kind exchange, installment sales, recapitalizations, and distressed debt transactions.

Prior to joining 4Pines, Ira spent 10 years at a large multinational corporation, a Big Four accounting firm, and most recently served as a Tax Director at Alvarez & Marsal focusing on private equity, real estate and corporate clients.

Ira earned a bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Florida and a master's degree in accounting with a tax specialization from Nova Southeastern University.  Ira is a Certified Public Accountant in Florida and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
