Walter brings nearly 25 years of experience in providing tax compliance and consulting services to private equity firms. His primary practice areas include federal and state tax compliance, consulting, and planning for investment partnerships, management companies, and corporate “blockers.” Walter possesses extensive experience in the alternative investments industry, covering partnership taxation, cross-border taxation, and tax planning and compliance for private equity funds. Additionally, he has expertise in providing tax consulting and compliance services to high-net-worth individuals and families. Walter has collaborated with numerous families and closely held businesses to develop and implement wealth maximization strategies, leveraging family entities, income tax planning, and effective gift and estate planning. Before joining FTS, he spent ten years at Andersen, working in the Alternative Investment and Private Client Services Group.
